Water Payments

The City of Laurel is now accepting automatic payments for water bills. Download, print and fill out the following form before returning to City Hall.

• All new accounts require $ 170.00 deposit.
• Dog tags are available at the City of Laurel water office. Fees for dog tags are as follows:
• $ 20.00 per year for each spayed/neutered dog – January 1 to March 31
• $ 30.00 per year for each unaltered dog – January 1 to March 31
• Fees increase $10.00 after March 31st each year. Tags are only good for the year purchased.

City of Laurel Monthly Rates:

Residential homes with a ¾ inch meter are charged a base rate with usage for Water and Sewer:

Water Rates are as follows:

Base rate: $24.61

0-5,000 gallons $2.17 per 1,000 gallons

5,001- 10,000 gallons $2.71 per 1,000 gallons

10,001-20,000 gallons $3.26 per 1,000 gallons

Over 20,000 $4.34 per 1,000 gallons

Sewer Rates are as follows:

Base Rate: $19.24

All Usage $8.45 per 1,000 gallons

Residential Garbage Rate:

$23.00 per Can ($25.50 on 7/1/2025)
