JOB OPENING
The City of Laurel is now accepting applications for the following union positions:
MAINTENANCE WORKER II and (1) Utility Maintenance Worker II
Compensation for both positions includes excellent benefits, plus a competitive starting hourly wage with an increase after successfully completing a 12-month probationary period;
Maintenance Worker II’s workweek is Tuesday through Saturday 7 am – 3:300pm with half hour unpaid lunch. Starting wage is $22.77/hour (95% of $23.97). Commercial Driver License Class B required with air brakes endorsement. Preemployment physical and drug screen will be required. Background checks will be performed prior to employment offer.
Utility Worker II’s workweek is Monday through Friday; Hours 7 am – 3:30 pm with half hour unpaid lunch. Starting Wage is $23.26/hour (95% of $24.48). Commercial Driver License Class B required with air brakes endorsement. Preemployment physical and drug screen will be required. Background checks will be performed prior to employment offer. Must be able to obtain a Montana Department of Environmental Quality water distribution certification withing one year of start date.
