Description:
Task Order is to design and reconstruct the main water location from 5th Ave to 4th Ave, where it will connect to Valley Drive.
Abandonment of 12” waterline that connects 11th St to 12th St north of 5th Ave in Laurel, Montana. The 12” waterline is to be rerouted from intersection of 5th Ave and 11th St, east to 4th Ave and then north to 12th St where it will turn back west and run back to the original connection point along 12th St where 5th Ave would connect if it continued north of 11th St. Also, included in this project will be the abandonment of an existing 8” water main along 12th St between 4th Ave and what would be 5th Ave if it extended north of 11th St. The new 12” water line in 12th St will also extend east to connect in to a 10” water main that is approximately 750-feet away. An 8” sewer main will be included that will connect onto an existing sewer manhole at the alley way between 12 St and Laurmac Lane on 4th Ave and extend east for approximately 100-ft. This project will include approximately 2,125 linear feet of 12” water main, 100 linear feet of 8” sewer main, 5 water service connection, and 1,552 square yards of asphalt surface replacement.
Timeline:
Desired construction to occur between June 1, 2021 and November 15, 2021.
Budget:
Task Order for services rendered awarded is $106,000.00.

Description:
Task Order is to design and reconstruct the main water location from 5th Ave to 4th Ave where it will connect to Valley Drive.
Abandonment of the waterline that runs on 5th Ave between West 11th and West 12th St underneath developed lots with no easement and rerouting that waterline east along West 11th St to 4th Ave and then north two blocks to West 12th St where it will connect into a new water main that runs from the approximate intersection of 5th Ave and West 12th St east to an existing waterline in Valley Drive.
Timeline:
Desired construction to begin June 14, 2021 through September 25, 2021, with final completion by October 15, 2021.

Resolution contracted awarded $929,633.50.

Description:
The 2021 Pavement Maintenance program identified some streets with portions in County and portions in City that need chip and crack sealing. Also, the County portion of the 5th Ave Reroute project.
The County Commissioners signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) May 18, 2021.
Agreement entered May 25, 2021 between Yellowstone County and the City of Laurel to make road and other improvements in and near the City, which includes a portion of certain property which are County roads. But, are included in the City’s 2021 Pavement Maintenance Project and 5th Avenue Water line Reroute Project.
Timeline:
Reference R21-29: Crack sealing will be done around the end of May and be given 30-days to let it cure. Chip and fog sealing will be done by September 1st, unless more streets are added. Hardrives was awarded contract of $329,329.50 for 2021 Pavement Maintenance project.
Budget:
County and City (each entity) shall pay their respective portions for the Projects. The estimated total cost for the County portions of both Projects is $57,972.25.

Status Update 09-09-2021: Project is 90% complete. The waterlines are done and pavement will be completed in a couple of weeks.
