Description:
Task Order for Lions Park fishing pier, the fishing pier will be a structural dock. KLJ Engineering, Inc. to provide engineering, bidding, and construction services for the installation of a dock and pedestrian pathway around the pond at Lions Park.
Pedestrian bridge will need to be engineered to ensure it is safe to walk on, also, there will need to be an ADA trail to the pier. Remaining funds will construct a blacktop trail around the outside of the pond.
This project funded in a variety of ways. First, the Lions have received and collected donations over $30,000.00, as well as a grant through Lions International. Second, there is $62,000.00 from Natural Resource Damage Program. This total is approximately $180,000.00 to get this work completed.
Timeline:
Desired construction to occur between during Spring 2021 timeframe. Engineer will begin immediately, to advertise for bids in Fall/Winter of 2020.
Budget:
Task Order for services rendered is $28,000.00.

Description:
Purpose of Task Order is to outline the tasks necessary for the installation of American with Disabilities Act (ADA)-compliant dock, to improve the walking path, and to install benches at Laurel South Pond in the Yellowstone Basin. Contractor will work with the Laurel Lions to install the proposed benches and will provide in-kind project management as match.

Description:
Award for contract for new fishing dock with concrete access to the dock and improve the trail around the pond. Work is described by Weave Consulting, as follows: Approximately 3500 lineal feet of improved trails consisting of 2” asphalt and 2” crushed leveling course, approximately 60 lineal feet of concrete sidewalk and construction of a fishing access structure. This project includes, but not limited to pedestrian traffic control, permitting, sidewalks, asphalt paving, landscaping, and other associated work.
This does include adding riprap along the east side of the pond, as to deteriorating condition due to windstorms and want to protect that bank as much as possible. The Markegard family donated the concrete for the riprap; it was an additive alternative.
