Emergency Medical Services Mill Levy

Vote November 7, 2023

DID YOU KNOW?

EMS is not an essential service in Montana.

This means that you might call 911 in an emergency, and an ambulance may not be available.

Laurel EMS has a lack of funding which causes delayed response times and missed emergency calls.

Your nearest ambulance may be over an hour away.

SUPPORT OUR FIRST RESPONDERS

This Mill Levy Will Help Us:

Increase staffing so that we can have 24/7 coverage with one full ambulance crew.

Small recruitment and retention compensation for volunteers and existing personnel to remain competitive and equitable.

Additional training and recruitment resources.

LAUREL EMS PROPOSES A MILL LEVY INCREASE OF 50.06

$5.63/month for a $100,000 home = less than $0.19/day

$11.25/month for a $200,000 home = less than $0.38/day

$16.89/month for a $300,000 home = less than $0.57/day
