The City of Laurel is accepting applications for following positions.
Patrol Officer -hiring pool with one immediate position to fill.
The Laurel Police Department is an active, progressive, and growing department with 15 sworn officers. We are seeking professional individuals with the highest ethical standards who are committed to the service of this community.
12-month probationary wage is $27.83/Hr. with $1 /Hr. wage increase upon successful completion of probationary period. The City of Laurel also offers additional per hour increases for Montana POST Intermediate and Advanced certificate Officers.
Additional benefits include: a generous paid medical insurance package, Municipal Police Officer Retirement System, paid vacation, sick and personal leave, retention, and longevity pay. Patrol Officers work 12 hour shifts on a 2-2-3 rotation which provides an excellent work/ family life balance.
