The 2024 Christmas to Remember Parade will begin at 5:00 PM on December 1, 2024. The Christmas Firework Show will follow the parade brought to you by the LVFD Association. Mr. Clause and Mrs. Clause can be found and are available for photos under the gazebo in Fireman's Park after the parade and firework show.
School Visits
Every year, the LVFD Association gifts candy bags to the children of Laurel. This tradition originated well over 30 years ago as peanut bags. In 2023 and 2024, Candy Town USA teamed with the LVFD Association to give Laurel children a bag of sweets for Christmas. This year, Santa will deliver these bags to Sunshine Academy, Our Savior's school, the School of Light, South Elementary, West Elementary, and Graff Elementary on December 19, 2024.
Fireman's Park Christmas Decorations
The LVFD Association is dedicated to bringing you the Spirit of Christmas with our Christmas decorations in Fireman's Park. This tradition has continued for well over 30 years. Many of our decorations have been on display every year for the past 30 years and are starting to show their age. In 2024, the LVFD Association, the Carlton Depot, First Montana Title, and the community of Laurel helped raise funds to update our Christmas decorations. Later that fall, Santa's workshop trailer was replaced with a permanent gazebo in Fireman's Park. In 2025, more lights and maintenance on our mechanical elves are planned.
